Workshop Overview
This outdoor lighting workshop is organised by Traverso Vighy and Light Collective and will take place in Tuscany, Italy, on 2 to 4 October 2025.
The workshop is designed to provide participants with hands-on experience in outdoor lighting techniques and photography in a heritage environment. The workshop will take place outside and participants are advised to bring clothing for all weather conditions.
Registration and Payment
- Eligibility: Participants must be at least 18 years old.
- Booking: To secure a spot, participants must complete the registration form and pay the full amount.
- Payment Methods: Payments can be made via the link on the website.
- Confirmation: Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of the full payment.
- Places: The number of places available at the workshop is strictly limited and sold on a first-come first-served basis.
Cancellation Policy
Participant Cancellation:
Cancellations made before 1 August 2025 will receive a 75% refund.
Cancellations after 1 September 2025 are non-refundable.Organiser Cancellation:
If the workshop is canceled by the organiser due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive a full refund. The organiser is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by participants, such as travel or accommodation outside of the workshop.Travel and Accommodation
- Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the workshop location.
- Accommodation is included on Thursday 2 October and Friday 3 October 2025. Details will be provided upon registration. Participants must select room allocation and provide food preferences.
- It is possible to arrange your own alternative accommodation but the workshop fee will not be reduced.
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Workshop Activities
- The workshop will include outdoor sessions and practical lighting exercises. A detailed itinerary will be provided upon registration.
- The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen factors.
- Participants are responsible for bringing their own equipment, including cameras and lighting gear, unless otherwise specified.
Health and Safety
- Participants must inform the organiser of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions in advance.
- Outdoor activities may involve uneven terrain or other physical challenges. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of attending.
- The organiser will not be held liable for injuries, illnesses, or accidents during the workshop.
Intellectual Property
- Participants retain ownership of all photographs taken during the workshop.
- By participating in the workshop the participants’ give permission for the organisers to use their photographs for promotional purposes, with proper credit given.
- Participants grant the organisers the right to use images of them participating in the workshop unless they specifically request anonymity.
Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward other attendees, the organizer and local communities. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the workshop without refund.
Liability
The organiser is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. Participants are encouraged to have appropriate insurance coverage for their equipment and personal safety.
Force Majeure
The organiser will not be held liable for cancellations, delays, or alterations due to events beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Italy.
Agreement
By registering for the workshop, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
